Slots

Slots is the category for slot machine and casino-style gambling streams. It became one of Twitch's biggest categories in the early 2020s, which also made it one of the most controversial.

In 2022 Twitch banned streaming gambling sites that offer slots, roulette or dice games and aren't licensed in the US or another jurisdiction with sufficient consumer protection. Sports betting, fantasy sports and poker were not affected by that ban.

Gambling content is restricted to adult audiences, and streamers have to follow Twitch's gambling policy and local laws.
