Stream-o-Ween

Stream-o-Ween is Twitch’s Halloween event that highlights spooky content, horror games, costumes, art, baking, makeup, and more on a dedicated front-page shelf and event page. Streamers can take part by applying the Stream-o-Ween event tag under their channels while streaming in eligible categories, giving them a chance to be featured alongside other Halloween-themed channels.

Stream-o-Ween is the 2026 evolution of Twitch’s annual late-October Halloween week, previously known as Twitch Fright Fest. Earlier editions (2023-2025) used tags or, in 2025, a temporary Fright Fest category to feature horror and Halloween content on the homepage.

In 2026 the celebration was expanded to the full month of October and rebranded as Stream-o-Ween, returning to an event-tag system while keeping the focus on discovery and community participation around spooky content.
