Twitch Global Emote

ArgieB8 is the emote of Argie (@TheArgie), a Spanish-language Twitch figure who cast Copa América esports events and sent Twitch shirts to streamers in 2015. Argie announced it on 27 May 2015: 'Mi emote global "ArgieB8" DENLE RETWEET INGRATOS, AHORA PODRÁN HACERME BULLYING GRATIS' ('My global emote ArgieB8. Retweet it, you ingrates, now you can bully me for free'). The original account no longer exists, and what 'B8' stands for was never explained.

It caught on in Spanish-speaking chats first, as a playful, smug reaction often used next to Kappa.
