Twitch Global Emote

BlargNaut is the face of Aria Blarg, a longtime Twitch partner whose X bio still reads 'Twitch partner, BlargNaut emote'. She announced it on 4 September 2011: 'Ahhhh!! I have a @TwitchTV / @justintv face now! It's BlargNaut !' In March 2012 it reached Justin.tv too: 'also usable on jtv now? Not just twitch anymore!!'

BlargNaut was the name of her community before it was an emote: her regulars and guest casters were 'Blargnauts' ('Blargnaut Tuesday', 2012), and her 2013 sub emote post began 'Hey BlargNaut subs!'. So in chat it works as a warm hello and a 'one of us' signal for her crew. She has stayed proud of it, giving a game character 'the hair from my emoticon #BlargNaut' and being 'Happy to see my emote in a tweet' when Twitch used it in 2021.

Today's image is not the 2011 original: its ID belongs to the autumn 2016 wave of re-uploaded emotes, and on 17 September 2016 she asked for '+500 points to anyone who has the original image #BlargNaut'.
