DAESuppy is Suppy, the StarCraft II player Conan Liu, then of Evil Geniuses (@EGSuppy). It was live by January 2013, when a viewer spotted 'DAESuppy on the #HyperX Anniversary tournament stream'. Suppy treated it as a personal mascot: 'holy shit I look terrifying #DAESuppy', 'DAESuppy Proleague edition', and in 2015, when Twitch redrew a batch of global emotes, 'did they just redo a bunch of emotes or something! Omg DAESuppy might be threatened ... long live DAESuppy'. A fan, @8mmspikes, claimed to have made it: 'I was the one who made the twitch face #DAESuppy'. Suppy never confirmed that.

'DAE Suppy' was a StarCraft fan catchphrase and cheer ('DAE SUPPY IN WCS SEASON 3?!?!?!'); fans reported that even Day[9] said 'DAE SUPPY?' on a cast. Nobody ever spelled out what DAE stands for. The common reading, Reddit's 'Does anyone else', fits the question form but is unconfirmed.

Fans still reply 'DAESuppy' to Suppy's posts, including ones about medical residency, and in 2023 one user complained that typing ':D' on mobile autocompleted to ':DAESuppy:'.
