Twitch Global Emote

EarthDay has been a global emote since 2018, added around Earth Day (22 April) that year, when Twitch posted: 'Let's keep the Earth clean and purple like it's supposed to be. Don't screw this up. #EarthDay'. Twitch never announced the emote itself, and no campaign or charity behind it is known.

Chat turned it into a protest emote: during the 2019 Amazon rainforest fires, chats were flooded with 'COPY EarthDay THIS EarthDay EMOTE EarthDay TO EarthDay SAVE EarthDay AMAZON EarthDay RAINFOREST', including the LCS chat.
