Twitch Global Emote

EntropyWins appeared in early August 2017. 'Entropy wins' is an old phrase for the idea that disorder always wins in the end, a nod to the second law of thermodynamics, and chat uses the emote that way, as a chaos or hype reaction.

The very first post about it was addressed to @entropyfails, Jt Gleason, who spoke for Twitch's developer team at PAX Dev that month: 'just saw there is an entropywins emote. bout damn time!'. Whether the emote was named after Gleason has never been confirmed.
