FeverFighter is a charity emote for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and its creator fundraising program, St. Jude PLAY LIVE. Fever Fighter is a superhero drawn by a St. Jude patient: 'Created by St. Jude patient Ethan, the Fever Fighter is now the heroic mascot of St. Jude Play Live.' Twitch launched the emote around its St. Jude PLAY LIVE stream in April 2025: 'New global emote just dropped 🔥 Hand-drawn by a St. Jude's patient in 2012, please welcome: Fever Fighter 🎉'.

St. Jude PLAY LIVE spelled out what it is for: '@Twitch has launched the Fever Fighter Global Emote inspired by @StJude patient Ethan's artwork. Now you can raise awareness and support St. Jude kids in chat anytime!' The character also fronted the 2025 campaign's fundraising rewards, such as a Fever Fighter keychain, puzzle and glow-in-the-dark vinyl, and Twitch added a collab hoodie for streamers who raised $500 or more.

In chat it is a support emote for St. Jude charity streams, folded into fundraiser calls like 'FeverFighter Friday! !stjude'.
