Twitch Global Emote

FrankerZ is Frankie ('Frank'), the dog of Ernest Le's family. Le claimed the emote on X in 2012: 'If you're a user of Twitch, then you know my emoticon "FrankerZ". Here's the real FrankerZ :)'. Earlier that year he had shared the photo with 'Want to use this face in Twitch chat? Type in "FrankerZ"'. When a second dog, Ralph, joined in 2013, he got an emote too: RalpherZ. Twitch Support joked: 'Everything has a Z. FrankerZ. RalpherZ. LanaZ.'

Twitch embraced the dog early, from 'FrankerZ plushies? Share your thoughts' (2013) to a FrankerZ Theater at TwitchCon 2015. When Frankie died in July 2018, Twitch wrote: 'We are saddened to hear about the passing of our beloved community member, Frankie. Frankie will forever be a good boy. If you're on Twitch today, show your respects with a "FrankerZ."'
