Twitch Global Emote

ImTyping is a Twitch-made global emote from spring 2022 with no person or character behind it. Its meaning comes straight from the name: 'I'm typing', the typing-in-progress signal from messaging apps, turned into a chat emote. Twitch never announced it or explained it.

Chat posts it to signal that a message is on its way, and sometimes as a warning: in June 2022 a French viewer described a chat spamming 'Imtyping' as a sign it was about to backseat or spoil. It also shows up as comic filler next to other emotes.
