Twitch Global Emote

InuyoFace arrived on 30 March 2017 in a batch of eleven new global emotes, most with Japanese-style names: KonCha, PunOko, TehePelo, InuyoFace, Kappu, BigPhish, SabaPing, TearGlove, BegWan, ThankEgg and ArigatoNas. Twitch never explained the set, and viewers were left guessing where it came from.

What 'Inuyo' means has never been explained; it may combine 犬 'inu' (dog) with a Japanese sentence ending. In chat it became a cheerful sign-off for stream announcements in many languages, Japanese included: '今夜も24時～2時間配信します🎵 よろしくお願いいたします InuyoFace'.
