Twitch Global Emote

MaxLOL appeared in August 2018 without an announcement. Who or what 'Max' is has never been revealed. The name reads as 'maximum LOL', and chat uses it exactly that way, for big laughs and mockery, from 'What a shame! MaxLOL' to esports trash talk. Japanese Hearthstone players were among the first to pick it up.
