Twitch Global Emote

mcaT is the emote of Monstercat, the independent electronic music label from Vancouver; 'mcat' is the label's own shorthand. Monstercat launched 'Monstercat FM. A 24/7 @Twitch stream of Monstercat music!' in December 2014. The emote appeared a month later, right as the label celebrated 'We are on the front page of @Twitch!!'.

Monstercat uses the emote itself ('Now try a mcaT train'), and so does co-founder Mike Darlington. Why the code ends in a capital T has never been explained.
