Twitch Global Emote

MercyWing2 comes from Blizzard's Pink Mercy charity campaign for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), which ran from 8 to 21 May 2018. Overwatch sold a limited Pink Mercy skin for Mercy (Dr. Angela Ziegler) and a charity T-shirt, offered Pink Mercy Twitch Drops, and had 14 Overwatch creators host charity streams. Blizzard said viewers could 'amp up awareness for the cause on Twitch' with BCRF- and Pink Mercy-themed global emotes until 21 May.

Blizzard later reported that the campaign raised more than $12.7 million (USD) from the skin and shirts, the largest single-year donation by a corporate partner in BCRF's history, plus over $130,000 donated during the Twitch charity streams. MercyWing1 and MercyWing2 are a matching left and right pair of Mercy's wings.
