Twitch Global Emote

NotLikeThis is Ben Swartz, whose X bio reads 'Face of NotLikeThis, Former Twitch Engineer'. Twitch called him 'the most famous face of anguish on Twitch' in 2016, when Atrioc sat down with him for #TwitchHistory to find out where the emote came from. The photo appears to be one Ben Goldhaber posted in July 2015, tagging Swartz with 'this is gonna make a good emoticon'; the emote went global days later.

Chat uses it for despair at a failure, like a crash, a choke or a lost match, and so does Twitch: TwitchCon posted 'we're completely sold out of tickets...NotLikeThis' (2018), and Twitch Support posted 'Time to get glasses NotLikeThis' (2019).
