Twitch Global Emote

PipeHype is the face of the streamer PIPe. 'PIPe hype' was the community's catchphrase before there was an emote ('So it seems people want to have pipeHype emote', September 2013). The road there was bumpy: PIPe posted 'Wow, thanks Twitch. So unfair of you to decline this emote. @JhnnyCrwsh worked hard on it. How is this copyright?' The version that shipped in November 2013 was a different idea that 'might not be what you expected', and PIPe joked 'apparently I look like Wil Wheaton on PipeHype emote'.

In chat it means hype and excitement. PIPe spotted people 'spamming PipeHype in @AdamKuczynski's stream' and later wrote 'It's always funny to see my global emote being used in the #AGDQ2016 chat'. When exactly it went from channel emote to global is not documented.
