Twitch Global Emote

SoBayed is one of the old Justin.tv-era faces, and nobody has ever explained who or what it shows, who made it, or what the name means. It was already around in September 2011, when Justin.tv staffer Amahni, asked for the codes of the new emotes, answered 'KevinTurtle ... lol jk I only know mine and SoBayed'.

Early on it was a friendly hype and greeting emote, often posted as 'SoBayed/' with a raised arm ('Hey soul sister SoBayed/ Kappa'). From 2015 it turned into a gloating emote in esports chats, wrapped around trash talk: 'SoBayed WHAT NOW 4K SCRUBLORDS SoBayed'.
