Twitch Global Emote

RPG stands in this context for Research Power Group, Twitch's user-research panel. 'Sign up for #TwitchRPG (Research Power Group), give feedback, and help Twitch level up!' (@Twitch, August 2016). The emote appeared in June 2016, the week the first Research Power Group invitations went out.

The panel still exists: Twitch Support tells members 'You should receive an email when you're selected for a survey for TwitchRPG' (2023).
