Twitch Global Emote

TwitchSings is named after Twitch Sings, Twitch's free karaoke game. It arrived with the game's public launch in April 2019 ('The curtain's up and the stage is yours. Twitch Sings is now available to everyone'), together with SingsMic and SingsNote. Twitch promoted the game for the next year and a half, from Jack Black duets for Red Nose Day to 'This year, we made every night karaoke night with @TwitchSings' (January 2020).

In September 2020, Twitch announced that it had 'made the difficult decision to close Twitch Sings on January 1, 2021'. The emote outlived the game and is still a global emote.
