This badge is worn in chat by members of the Twitch Ambassador program, streamers hand-picked by Twitch for the positive impact they have had on the Twitch community. It cannot be earned by viewers: Twitch grants it directly to the accounts of current Ambassadors, and clicking the badge leads to the official Ambassadors team page.
The program debuted at TwitchCon 2018 in San Jose with a first class of 15 TwitchCon Ambassadors, and in March 2019 Twitch expanded it into the ongoing Twitch Ambassador program, spotlighting a new Ambassador on the front page of Twitch every week.
