This badge is granted by individual streamers to artists who have contributed artwork to their channel, such as emotes, overlays or avatars. Each channel can assign the badge to up to five artists, and an artist must accept the badge before it appears; it is then shown next to their name in that channel's chat only.
It was introduced on May 17, 2022 together with Emote Attribution, a pair of features Twitch released to credit the artists behind channel emotes. The badge itself is a small paintbrush outlined in blue.
