Twitch Global Badge

This badge is awarded to the viewer holding the #1 spot on a channel's Top Cheerers leaderboard, which ranks who has sent the most Bits in that channel during the current leaderboard cycle. The top three cheerers are pinned above chat and wear the Bits Leader 1, 2 and 3 badges for as long as they hold their spot; the badge is lost when the leaderboard resets or someone out-cheers them. Streamers choose whether the leaderboard resets daily, weekly, monthly or runs all-time, so how long the badge lasts differs per channel.

Although it appears in the global badge registry, the badge is channel-specific and only shows in the channel where the leaderboard position is held. Top Cheerers leaderboards were announced by Twitch on February 13, 2018 and went live on February 28, 2018.
