This badge was awarded between August 24 (17:00) and October 1 (07:00 UTC) to people that fullfilled both of the following requirements:
First requirement:
Subscribe 1 regular/gifted/anonymous subscription to a stream between August 24 (17:00) and October 1 (07:00 UTC) in the Just Chatting, Music, DJ, Art, Sports or any Pokémon category.
Second requirement:
Watch 20 mins of the stream on 3 different days until October 1 and get either charmander, squirtle or bulbasaur.
After the user receives their first starter Pokémon, the cycle repeats, and they use the next Great Ball in their stack. Users can obtain 3 great balls right at the start. They will be consumed automatically after each third day.
Important Notes:
Twitch announced that each badge can evolve meaning if a user didn't catch a certain pokemon until October 1 the evolutions can't be obtained anymore
3 subs will get you 3 superballs so you will get every starter pokemon as a badge, the superball icon itself is not the badge
The total of 3 superballs can be obtained from different channels; they do not all have to come from a single channel
