This badge was awarded to people who purchased The Elder Scrolls Online or ESO-related items on the Twitch game store, which sold games between spring 2017 and November 2018. Starting May 21, any ESO purchase made on the store by a user with a linked ESO account granted a free Twitch Crate, which contained either this Ouroboros chat badge or a random ESO-themed Twitch emote, so the badge was a random crate drop rather than a guaranteed reward.
It was introduced alongside the launch of Twitch Drops for The Elder Scrolls Online, when Crown Packs, ESO Plus and the Summerset chapter were added to the Games on Twitch store.
