Twitch Global Badge

This badge is displayed in a channel's chat by people who are subscribed to that channel. It is Twitch's default subscriber badge, the star icon shown when a channel has not uploaded its own custom subscriber badge art, and it appears only in the chat of channels the viewer is subscribed to rather than across all of Twitch. Affiliates and Partners can replace it with custom designs and add milestone versions that unlock as subscribers accumulate time subscribed, such as 3 months or 6 months.

Subscriber badge tenure is based on the total number of months subscribed, not on consecutive subscription streaks. Unlike event or promotional badges, this badge has no time limit and can be obtained at any time by subscribing to a channel.
