Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches

Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches is the category for streams in or near the water - pool and beach streams, hot tub streams and summer hangouts.

Twitch created it in 2021 after the so-called "hot tub meta" made hot tub streams one of the most debated trends on the platform, many of them streamed under Just Chatting. Moving them into their own category gave viewers and advertisers more control over what they see, while Twitch stated that this content was not against its rules.
