Twitch Global Badge

This badge is displayed next to the names of a channel's moderators, one of the roles a broadcaster can assign to people on their channel. Moderators help manage a creator's chat to keep it safe, welcoming and fun, and the green sword badge is shown in the chat of every channel where the user holds the role.

It is one of the oldest badges on Twitch and is still in active use. Twitch later added a separate lead moderator role with its own badge; lead moderators can do everything regular moderators can, plus manage the mod team.
